I stumbled across a version of these incredible cookies and like love, I just knew at that moment, I had to make them mine..lol! C’mon..Hot Cocoa & Cookies..TOGETHER, are you kidding me right nowww?!
One succulent bite of these heavenly cookies and you’ll never be the same! Deep, dark chocolaty pillows of warm & chewy cookie, dripping in melted Dark Chocolate and topped with a gooey toasty Marshmallow…pinch me!
Never in my life have I had a cookie experience like this..EVER!
Be warned, no Mug of Hot Cocoa, or simple Chocolate Cookie will ever be enough for you again..the bar has now been raised to unreachable heights!
I did however, have to dumb down the recipe to meet my lazy needs.
But I think my shortcuts made them even better, why?..because I used Brownie Mix for the cookie batter. Yes, I did! Sorry, but I just wasn’t in the mood to BS around with 4 dozen cookies..LOL!
Brownie Mix allows me to make as little or as many cookies as I want with hardly any effort at all, and that’s how I roll…haha!
And as a bonus these cookies are thick, rich, moist and decadent..So take that all of you “from scratch” people! 😉
What you’ll need for approx. 12 cookies (feel free to double the amounts accordingly for more)
2 Cups Brownie Mix
1/3 Cup Flour
1 egg (not 2 as shown)
1 tbsp. Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
1/4 Cup NESTL?® TOLL HOUSE® Semisweet Morsels
1/4 Cup Milk
Chocolate Bars of your choice (I used DOVE), one square of chocolate per cookie
Marshmallows..one per every 2 cookies!
Directions:
In a medium bowl mix together the Brownie Mix, Egg, Milk, Choc. Chips, Cocoa Powder and Flour..it will be thick like cookie dough!
Scoop out mounds of the dough onto a greased baking sheet and then slightly flatten them out…
Cut each Marshmallow in half and place a Chocolate square onto each one..
Bake the cookies at 350 for about 10 minutes and take them out, top them with the Chocolate and Marshmallow toppers. Place them chocolate side down on top of each cookie! Then back into the oven for about 4 minutes..just until the Marshmallows are softened.
Let them cool just a little bit…
But definitely serve them warm..
Grab one for yourself…
And do what comes naturally! ~Enjoy! 🙂
