I promise this post won’t take long, because I want you to log off the computer, go to the kitchen and toss this together asap..k?..OK! 😉 So, basically I had some leftover Praline Sauce from my Thanksgiving “Praline Sweet Potatoes” and there was no way in heck that I was going to waste it~Nofreakinway!! 🙂
Luckily, I was making some pancakes for breakfast anyway, because no matter what my next meal was going to be..this sauce was going on it..lol! Trust me, once you make this inexplicably delicious, thick & gooey Praline Sauce, you’ll totally understand!
~Just think, warm, gooey, melty Pralines!
Here’s the rundown! First whip up a stack of your fave Pancakes!
Then smother this Praline Sauce all over those fluffy Pancakes, and don’t be shy..lol!
Keep some of this Sauce in the fridge, and use it on anything and everything..really!
Orrr..fill up some cute Mason Jars and give them as gifts..YES, it’s good enough to give away! ~And sooo easy! 🙂
What you’ll need for enough Praline Sauce to smother many pancakes, and other stuff too:
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Cup coarsely chopped Pecans
Directions:
In a medium sauce pot, dissolve the Brown Sugar & Butter until smooth. Then mix in the Evaporated Milk and the Sweetened Condensed Milk, bring it to a bubble..keep stirring! Reduce the heat, add in the pecans & stir for about 5 minutes. Take it off the heat to thicken up..stir before each use! Store in the fridge and use on everything! 🙂
Stack up those Buttermilk Pancakes, pour on some warm, thick Praline Sauce and dive in…face first! ~Enjoy! 🙂
Drooooooool.. seriously.
Im going to make the sauce to use on ice cream, Im not a fan of pancakes, but the sauce looks to die from.
These sound delicious
What a creative inspiration for two things that I love. I featured this in My Weekly Rays of Sunshine here: http://www.tumbleweedcontessa.com/blog/weekly-rays-of-sunshine-5-and-family-favorite-holiday-sides/
