This is one of those little treats that literally popped into my head out of the blue. Usually when that happens, I need to go to the store because I never have everything I need on hand. But not this time~I had everything necessary to make each and every one of these incredible truffles a reality! All the stars aligned in one sweet, creamy, chewy, delicious row..and here we are!
These Truffles aren’t your typical super soft Truffle. They’re tender and chewy like a little ball of Nougat. A yummy orb of Pecan Pie inspired greatness, studded with Pecans and dripping in Chocolate. Not to mention the slightly warm, holiday flavor of Nutmeg..ever so gently making an appearance in your mouth as each Truffle slowly melts. Topped with a crumble of Graham Cracker crumbs and Pecans~these will make the most unique and unforgettable little Holiday treat EVER! And they’re SOOO easy!!! 🙂
What you’ll need for 8-10 small/medium Truffles:
1/2 cup of Marshmallow Fluff
8 oz. White Chocolate Almond Bark
2 oz. of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Almond Bark
1/2 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/2 cup roughly chopped Pecans…divided
1 tsp. Nutmeg..to taste, but it’s SO good!
Directions:
In a Microwave safe bowl combine the White Chocolate, Fluff, Nutmeg and 1/4 cup of the Pecans. Nuke it all on high for approx. 1 minute, depending on your Microwave…you want the Chocolate to melt, and everything to get warm.
Mix it all up and set it aside to kind of cool and become workable.
In a medium bowl, combine the Graham Cracker Crumbs and the remaining Pecans…set aside.
Melt the Semi-Sweet Chocolate in a small Microwave safe bowl, just until it’s melted…set aside.
Now in your hands roll about a tablespoon of the ‘Nougat’ into a ball. If you need to you can dampen your hands..it helps.
Place them on some wax paper or parchment paper and drizzle them with some of the Semi-Sweet Chocolate…
While they’re still wet, top them with the Graham Cracker Crumb & Pecan crumble.
Let them set up before you pop one in your mouth~or not..lol!
Wrap them up to share or just pop them in you mouth. You’ll love the satisfying, sweet chewy deliciousness of these Truffles…perfect for the Holidays! ~Enjoy! 🙂
