The day has come! Yep, the day has come that you can literally eat a Cinnamon Roll and/or a Pie with one hand, in public..without getting any strange looks. Well, you might get strange looks, but it won’t be because you’re eating a Cinnamon Roll with your hands! 😉
Each of these succulent twirly-swirly sticks provides all the sweet pleasure of a Cinnabon with the flaky deliciousness of a warm piece of Pie! Make a batch for a quick dessert or snack!
~You will suddenly be everyone’s favorite person..haha!
What you’ll need:
1 package of Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust (2 crusts)
1 cup of Cinnamon/Sugar..mixed to your liking
2 tablespoons melted Butter
a sharp knife or decorative cutting wheel
The Glaze:
a few splashes of Milk
Directions:
Unroll each crust and brush them with the Butter…
Sprinkle the tops with Cinnamon/Sugar…
Cut them into approx. 1″ strips…
Gently twist them…
Lay them onto a parchment lined sheet pan and bake them at 350degrees for approx. 15 minutes or so…
While they’re baking, make the glaze by mixing the powdered Sugar with some Milk until it’s thick & smooth…
Let them cool, so the Glaze will stick…
Like this…
You can drizzle them with the Glaze OR dip the Twirls into the Glaze…
Or..do both..
As long as they end up in your mouth…
Right where they belong! ~Enjoy! 🙂
Yum!! My mom used to make little cinnamon sugar “cookies” with leftover pie crust, these are a cuter version.
