Well, I think I’ve finally hit an all-time low in the Boozy snack department! Yep~It’s a sad day when you realize that you’ve taken the most innocent of snacks and completely boozed it up for your cheap adult pleasure!
Shameful I tell you~ but don’t let that stop you, Ohhh no! Haha!
Each handful offers a chewy, sweet Popcorny crunch with a unique, one-of-a-kind Bourbon allure..haha!
Turn away kids..this Popcorn isn’t for you! This is grown-up Popcorn, night-night! 🙂
Sweet, sticky & crunchy Popcorn is tainted with the sinful hint of Bourbon, if this is wrong…I don’t want to be right! 🙂
What you’ll need:
NO kiddos around
10 cups of popped Popcorn
1-1/2 cups of Caramel Topping/Sauce…in the jar
1/3 cup Bourbon
1/3 cup Toffee Bits
Directions:
Pop your Popcorn~
In a medium pot, over medium heat, combine the Caramel Sauce with the Bourbon, until it’s well blended and thick (only took me like 5 minutes)…
Let it cool just slightly and pour it all over the Popcorn…
Add in the Toffee Bits, and with a large spoon mix it all up so it’s evenly coated in the Bourbon Caramel…
Pour all of it onto a sheet pan and bake it at 350 for about 12 minutes, making sure to watch it so it doesn’t burn. You just want a little color on it…
Let it cool…
Break it up and make a fun pile…
Serve it to anyone you love…LOTS!
