Sometimes it’s so much fun to take an ordinarily delicious thing and make it extraordinary.
Like, take Tacos for instance~
Tacos are just about a perfect food as is, and it would be very difficult, if not impossible to improve them! ..until now.
Yeah..I said it, I think I may have improved the Taco..lol! Okay, not really..but I came pretty darn close.
Each Taco is sandwiched between melted cheese that lovingly turns what used to be single, dry tacos into an interactive, cheese and sauce filled vertical casserole, if you will. Baked together, warm, beefy, cheesy and crispy..top the entire show-stopper with some Mexican Crema, fresh cilantro and a splash of hot sauce!
..now you have next level tacos!
What you’ll need:
A bread loaf/meatloaf pan
Approx. 10 Tacos…I used Taco Bell, because..um, Taco Bell..lol! But feel free to use any Tacos you like!
2 cups of shredded cheese
lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, and hot sauce… to taste!
Directions:
In the bottom of your pan add some hot sauce, as much as you like…
and a sprinkle of cheese…
Now, place the tacos open side down into the pan, making sure that they’re snug. Fill the spaces in between with cheese, don’t be shy..this is what makes them amazing! Top them with cheese as well!
Bake them at 350 degrees for approx. 20 minutes, OR until the cheese is super melty and it’s hot throughout…
Now, flip it out…and try no to flip out over how incredible it is…
Serve it nice and warm…
With all the toppings and fixings you can imagine for your tacos. Dig IN! ~Enjoy! 🙂
