Well~ here we are again!
My house is overrun with people, Peeps, ..and those totally tempting irresistible Cadbury Creme Eggs. Oh, I don’t know about you, but I love those dangerous eggs. Which is pretty cool, since that love seems to balance out my negative emotions from all the hatred I feel towards the Peeps..haha.
However, As much as I love them, I think I love doing creative things to/with/for them even more. And this time, that creativity led me to a super sweet, sinfully sinister stack of warm, delicious & melty, Cadbury Creme Eggs filled party sandwiches.
That’s right, I took those adorable and typical “party sandwiches” to the sweetest, most scrumptious level possible. I stuffed them with those chocolatey gooey eggs, and grilled them between thick, buttery bread until they were bursting their deliciousness at the seams.
There’s not much more to them than that… and that’s ok~ since there doesn’t need to be. See…
Make a bunch of these as a fun and whimsical Easter dessert, and watch your crowd go WILD as you get this party started the right way! 🙂
What you’ll need:
Thick sliced bread
A griddle
Directions:
Simply, butter both sides of the bread and either toast them, or place them onto a griddle to heat up and get slightly toasted.
Sandwich 2 cadbury creme eggs in-between 2 slices of the warm bread, giving it a gentle smush just to melt the eggs…
Cut them into party sized 2-biters, and serve them up! ~Enjoy! 🙂
