HAPPY WORLD NUTELLA DAY!
Rejoice, relax, take the day off of work if you must, but celebrate this momentous day, and celebrate HARD! Get some Nutella, get a spoon, and do this thing right!
Oh Dear GOD! If you’ve ever wondered exactly how much self control you really have, how strong your willpower is, or if you’re a Nutella Nutcase?! UH..this is the perfect test for you! For the record, I totally failed this tasty and tempting test, but maybe..just maybe, you’ll have a better chance at not making a complete piggy of yourself when all you were going to do was have a little bite! One innocent, itty-bitty, little-bittle bite! << I just said “bittle” didn’t I?!..LOL!
One does not simply ‘eat’ these..Oh NO~ You experience them! You find a comfy spot, place one into your mouth, close your eyes and let it literally melt away and take you to Nutella places that you didn’t even know existed! They will change you, let them change you..haha! 😉
Anyway~ If you need to feel extra special and loved, simply make a batch of these babies to share, and BOOM..you’re instantly adored! 🙂
What you’ll need:
2 cups Nutella..divided
1 cup Flour
1 Egg
A small 8×11″ or so pan lined with parchment
Directions:
In a medium bowl combine 1 cup of Nutella with the egg, and slowly add in the flour until it’s fully mixed. I used an electric hand mixer for this step, but muscles will work too! It does get thick! 🙂
Divide the Nutella dough into two equal parts.
Press 1/2 of the Nutella “dough” evenly down into the pan…
Now, evenly smear the remaining cup of Nutella onto the dough…
Top it with the other half of the Nutella dough, gently pressing the edges together the best that you can. It doesn’t have to be perfect for these meltaways to be AWESOME!
Bake it at 350 for approx. 15 minutes, or until the dough is semi-ish firm! If the dough cooks too much, you won’t have as much of a melty middle, but they’ll still be AWESOME…lol!
Let it cool for a few minutes before cutting it into bite sized squares…
NOW you can cut it up and EAT IT UP! ~Enjoy! 🙂
Hi there could you tell me what flour you used for this please.
Kind regards
Liz
