It’s official~! Cookie Dough and Brownies have gotten married and now we can all live happily ever after! ~You may eat your dessert! 🙂
This is a match made in Brownie/Cookie Dough Heaven if there ever was one.
Moist, dense Brownies are topped (and by “topped” I mean loaded) with succulent, pure and safe-to-eat Cookie Dough!
I really don’t think a Brownie can get much better than these!
~And they couldn’t be easier..of course!
What you’ll need:
A box of your fave Brownie Mix..or you can make them from scratch!
Bake up your Brownies as you normally do, while they’re baking prepare the Cookie Dough Frosting.
No-fail, all-purpose “Cookie Dough Frosting” recipe:
1/2 cup (1stick) unsalted Butter, softened to room temp.
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 1/4 cup Flour
Pinch of Salt
4 tbsp. Milk (You may not use it all, depending on your desired consistency)
1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
With a mixer, cream together the Butter and the Sugar at medium speed. Add the Vanilla and beat well. Add the Flour & Salt a little bit at a time until combined. Add the Milk gradually, until your desired thickness is reached and beat until fluffy. Gently fold in the Chocolate Chips. (Store any leftovers in the fridge)
Let the Brownies cool..it takes a little patience. 🙂
Liberally top them with the Cookie Dough.
Slice them up, take a bite and listen for moans and groans that you haven’t heard in a really long time..if ever! LOL!
~Enjoy! 🙂

These look delicious!!! Can’t wait to try them! One question…do you make them in an 8×8 pan or a
9×13??? Would like to try them this weekend 🙂
I made a version of these that had a layer of peanut butter cups in the middle. Oh. My. Deliciousness.
Oh Amy you have done it again. My son will yell at me if I make these….then he will grab the bowl of frosting and a spoon and disappear. Lol.
What sort of packet brownie mix did you use?
Always have trouble finding the right kind of fudgey brownie and that one looks perfect!
Putting two of the best sweets together in one….This is genius! I can’t wait to try this out.
In the process of making these fab looking brownies. Is the brown sugar packed?
Yes.
This doesn’t say if it makes the amount to cover an 8×8 or I’d a for a 9×13. Wondering if I need to double it…
