Imagine for a moment an entire breakfast, made with hardly any effort, pleasing everyone all at the same time…and you never break a sweat! No need to imagine…poof>>here you go! I give to you everything we know and love about an entire breakfast, on one easy to fix and easy to clean sheet pan!
Gone are the days when you have to babysit those hash browns, flip that messy Bacon and worry about temperamental Eggs! Fill up that sheet pan and go sit back down darn it! 🙂
What you’ll need: (feel free to adjust accordingly for your amount of mouths to feed)
11″x17″ sheet pan
6 Eggs
1 lb of frozen Hash Brown …defrosted
1 lb. semi-crispy Bacon
2 cups of Shredded Cheese..your choice
1/2 cup melted Butter
Salt & Pepper to taste..and any other spices you might like
Directions:
In a LARGE bowl mix together the Hash Browns, Cheese, Butter, and seasonings..mix well~! Really get in there!
Spread that mixture evenly onto your sheet pan…
Bake it at 375 degrees for approx. 45 minutes, or until it’s done to your liking…
Leave the oven on, and gently push into the Hash Browns, creating a well. Make as many wells as you like, place a few strips of the par-cooked Bacon into each well, and then crack an Egg onto each “Bacon Bed”…
Put it back into the oven, just until the Eggs are the way you like them…
Cut out single portions and call your troops to the table…
If they’re not already there with forks in hand…
If you have a crazy-hungry crowd, make sure and grab some for you…
Grab a napkin…
Dig in! ~Enjoy! 🙂
Sounds fantastic. Will be next Sunday’s breakfast. I have Potatoes OBrien in the freezer, so will probably use those instead of the plain hash browns.
EXCELLENT idea!!! 🙂 Enjoy!!
Just make sure the potatoes are thawed first, since the butter will freeze and not spread out, I made something like this before I diced up the bacon was a winner…
Made it for dinner tonight. Big hit. Thanks
YAY! 🙂
Looks delicious. I will make this but use turkey or soy bacon!
Curious if the eggs can be done a different way? as not much the fan of Over Easy or Sunny Side Up
Yes…absolutely 🙂
I did them scrambled. Work perfect.
YIPEEE!! 🙂 🙂
AWESOME!!! WIN!!
I don’t have hashbrowns on hand, wondering if I could thaw out tator tots crumble when thawed and get the same results?
Pretty much..yep! 🙂
I wanted to make your Sheet Pan Breakfast Bake, looks FANTASTIC by the way. I can not find a “printer friendly” tab 🙁
Click on “print/PDF” at the bottom or top of the post. From the print screen, you can check the box at the top that says “remove images”. That way you don’t waste ink on photos. Each block of text can be deleted as well, if you don’t need it. 🙂
Instead of hashbrowns try using Potatoe’s O’Brien, for this recipe even better, Enjoy & Thanks for sharing.
why dont you make your recipes in printable form without having to print out bunches of pages a person doesnt want.
Simply check the box at the top-right of the print/PDF page that says “remove images”.. From there you can even delete unwanted text. Hope that helps
Could I just shredd a few potatoes instead og the store bought hash browns?
of course 🙂
This sounds yummy and something a little different from the ordinary bacon and eggs.
My only complaint is whats with the blow by blow description of making this and other recipes online now?
Most of us who have cooked in our lives prefer a simple recipe and don’t need pictures and videos to make a meal.
It’s there for the people who do need/like it… for those who don’t, can simply ignore it. 🙂
Can this be done with ground sausage instead of bacon?
