There’s really not much I can say about these without boring you to death~LOL!
I mean, we all know and love fried Pickles right??! …and most of you already know how I love to add booze whenever and wherever I can get away with it right??! Sooo.. here we are! 🙂
It was only a matter of time until this Pickle marriage made in Beer Heaven happened because these are EPIC!
~If you love Fried Pickles, if you love a crisp refreshing Beer, if you love snacking your day away..haha~you will LOVEEE these babies!
~Make a HUGE batch because if you don’t, you will spend all day in the kitchen making more..and more…annnd MORE! Then someone else will get your indent on the couch, and you can’t let that happen! 🙂
What you’ll need:
Pickle Spears..your fave variety
Oil for frying..I used Canola
Ranch Dressing for dipping~ or any dips you like!
The Batter:
1 bottle of your favorite Beer..I used a light, fruity Beer, but any will work!
2 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Corn starch
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
A dash of Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Dry off the pickles on some paper towel…
In a medium bowl mix together all the Batter ingredients until smooth (except the Panko)…
Dip each pickle into the batter and then into the Panko.. getting a nice, even crust on there…
Fry them in the hot oil (350 degrees) until they’re golden on all sides.
Let them cool off on paper towel.
Serve them up with some cool Ranch for dipping. ~Enjoy! 🙂
The recipe list baking soda but the picture of the ingredients shows baking powder. I used both and they turned out fine but think baking powder is the correct ingredient. Oh,these were wonderful.
Gonna try these with Vlasic Farmer’s Market pickles….and add a little shredded Parmesan cheese in the coating mix…it’ll be worth the calories!
Wondering if these could be made in an airfryer
