I love it on hot, buttered biscuits, but it is great to mix with brown sugar and apple juice to glaze ribs right before they are done.
I usually have apple butter on toast with butter. I have been known to eat it out of the jar with a spoon. Shameful I know but oh so good.
We have a plethora of fresh figs this season on our tree. I have been cutting them in quarters and slightly drying them, making fig jam and finding many other ways to enjoy them. I think a quick appetizer to serve anytime would be a fresh fig sliced with a little cream cheese or goat cheese slightly stuffed and them a smear of apple butter on top. Warm slightly, serve and voila! Deliciousness!
i would make the recipe above !! Which I will be making this upcoming weekend yum !!
I will first use the apple butter to make that amazing Sticky Bacon meatball recipe, then I will use it most likely daily on some warm toasty bread or English muffin!
This recipe is officially in my file.I use apple butter on toast and squash.
I would mix the apple butter with whole grain mustard and brush it on boneless skinless chicken thighs and grill them up. Yummy.
Applebutter as a glaze over an apple pie.
I love applebutter on apples for a sweet and crunchy snack. I also love applebutter on scrambled eggs!
These meatballs sound wonderful and i will be making them next weekend when we are watching college football!
I am going to try this recipe but I want to make my own meatballs 😛 I love apple butter in pumpkin pie and on squash <3
I would use this on many meats. a nice pork& beef roast, it would be amazing on ribs, pork & beef tenderloin, wow imagine BBQ any of this but also different types of steak.Baking with it is a all new ball game , muffins , tarts, pies , cakes it is limitless. Just try it on whatever comes to mind, every thing can be better using Musselman’s Apple Butter.
We use it mostly on a nice warm biscuit with melted butter (one of my husband’s favorites). But after seeing this recipe for the Sticky Bacon Meatball bites, I believe this will be the next try. Maybe a new favorite!
I can’t wait to make these they look wonderful. I would use the apple butter on homemade Irish Soda Bread and Brown Bread right from the oven its my late mom’s recipe.
I use it on toast, bagels, french toast, waffles, pancakes, and it’s fantastic paired with peanut butter. Since the contest ends not long before the holidays I would make sure to use some in a ham glaze and mix some in with the candied yams. Oh yeah, it also makes a great ice cream topping. 😉
I would make these bacon meatballs for sure! I would also make some cookies and apple pie dip!
I use it in my apple pie and coffee cake, so yummy?!
I have never tried apple butter, but this recipe looks fantastic. I would also try it when I cook country style pork ribs in the crockpot. I’d put it on with the BBQ sauce. Also, I think it might be good with a beef roast done in the crock pot, also with BBQ sauce and the apple butter. My grandkids would probably like it on ice cream when they come to visit. Thank you.
I love apple butter. I replace the Apple sauce in pancakes. Or my favorite ispork chops stuffed with cornbread and apples use the apple butter basting three four times while baking. Apple butter is seasoned perfect no extra spice needed.
This recipe looks delicious and I plan on making it for the family. I remember eating apple butter as a child – there was always some on the table. I I used to put it on pancakes, muffins, but my absolute favorite was on toast bread.
Thank you again for the recipe and will definitely be searching for more using Apple Butter.
How many would this make?
