This will take your Blueberry Muffins to a whole new level! 🙂
First: REMOVE the paper wrapper from the muffin..I won’t say why I feel this needs to be added as part of the instructions~Haha! 😉
Cut a blueberry muffin into 4 equal slices (see pic below), and dip each slice into a french toast coating mixture (1 lg. beaten egg and a splash of milk)
Grill each slice, on both sides until golden, as you would french toast!
*HINT* This method can be used with any variety of muffin you can imagine! Banana Nut would be great..Mmm!
This is SUCH a great idea! I may do it with some pumpkin bread on Halloween! How lovely!
Mmm..Pumpkin Bread sounds delicious!! 🙂
I found this website by Googling Little Debbie blueberry muffins. So I found this recipe and your recipe using the Little Debbie Oatmeal sandwiches. I actually used this recipe but instead of a full size muffin I used the Little Debbie Blueberry Bites. I had some bites that were at their expiration date but did not want to throw them out. I took the little muffins and dunked them in the egg/milk mixture and put on my two sided griddle and smooshed the muffins between the two plates. They came out great and my husband loved them with a little butter and syrup. I think a sprinkle of powdered sugar would have been good too! Thanks for the idea!
Oh, I’m so glad you liked the idea! That sounds delish! 🙂
