No..I didn’t add bacon to this toast like Elvis probably would have, but that’s for the best, since I’m not Elvis and I don’t think I could pull off the extra calories quite as well as he didn’t did! When you bite down through the sugar shelled bananas, into the creamy peanut butter and crunchy toast..you will feel like Elvis for sure!
So if you want to take your morning toast from Joe Shmoe to Rock Star in just a couple of seconds..give this method a try! It’s epic!
What you’ll need:
*A toaster
*A kitchen torch
*Your favorite sliced bread
*Sugar
*Peanut butter
*A banana
Directions:
Toast some bread
Smear some peanut butter on it
Slice some bananas, sprinkle them with sugar and torch them until they have a candy shell.
Top the toast with the bananas..and crunch on in! BEST toast ever! 🙂
This is a brilliant idea! I am totally craving some of this kicked up French toast right now! The pb & banana would’ve been delicious on it’s own, but that fact that you bruleed it makes it even better!
Thank you, I LOVE bruleed food!! Everyone who knows me knows that if they come to my house, they can’t sit still for too long..because I’ll probably Brulee them..LOL!! 🙂
I’d never heard of Elvis toast, but if it involves bruleed banana, I am all in for it 🙂
What a great recipe, this sounds delicious! 🙂
Kiri..the bruleed banana was the BEST part! 🙂
Thanks Kelly!! 🙂
