Oh that’s a good one! Now I finally have something that I can do with that root beer extract that my husband has had in the cabinets from before we got married! I make a Bisquick cookie dough with sugar egg, butter and vanilla – think I will substitute the vanilla and see how it comes out. Thanks, I’m inspired!
OMG!! So easy. Just had to share with Facebook friends and in my Pinterest Board “Bake sale- Cookies” Thanks for sharing this one!!
Where does one find root beer extract?
I found it in the grocery store, near all the other extracts. π
Mine are better….. this is not homemade and is not real rootbeer float cookie recipe.
Awesome, I’ll look for your version on your page! π
Why didn’t Judy post hers if she thinks hers are better? Just saying
We’re all waiting for your recipe Judy Hohenwarter. Amy, this sounds like a great cookie and I can’t wait to try it. Do you have any suggested extract to frosting ratio?
LOL! π
Just start with a couple of drops into your desired amount if frosting, taste it and adjust accordingly…go slow. :). ~enjoy! What this recipe lacks in difficulty, it makes up for in an adorable presentation.
Amy, I stumbled across your blog when I saw the cheesy bacon bites and now I’m going to try these cookies along with many of your other recipes. Thanks for breaking down the directions and ingredients in a very easy way. I am trying to expand my kitchen abilities lol!
