Well, talk about a happy accident! This recipe wasn’t planned, inspired, or even thought about… it just kind of happened! I had some leftover cheesecake filling and didn’t want to throw it away~it’s just THAT simple!
~What happened next, ended up being one of the VERY BEST tasting surprises to ever cross my lips. …and here we are! 🙂
This warm, soft, smooth, creamy, light & fluffy Cheesecake Soufflé is a one of a kind Cheesecake dream come true! I don’t know how to explain the sheer deliciousness that is this dessert! And totally beyond simple. Now that this ‘leftover cheesecake filling’ has its very own identity and is a reality all to itself~ I plan on making it LOTS and LOTS!
Check out how simple this is~ go give it a try…you. are. welcome..lol! 🙂
What you’ll need:
1-8 oz. Cream Cheese..softened
1 cup Powdered Sugar
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Non-stick spray
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
Powdered Sugar for dusting~!
8 small, round/oven safe bowls
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine the Egg Whites, Cream Cheese, Powdered Sugar and Vanilla.
Mix/beat on low, until smooth and creamy.
Spray each of your little soufflé bowls with non-stick spray and dust the inside with the granulated Sugar~
Now..fill each bowl up 3/4 of the way with the filling.
Bake them at 350 degrees for approx. 15-20 minutes, or until they’re super puffy, golden and firm to the touch!
Let them cool off just a bit, they will deflate ever-so slightly, but that’s what they do..lol
Dust them with some Powdered Sugar for a five star finished look…
These are best when served warm..gooey and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
Grab a spoon and dig in! ~Enjoy! 🙂
What a great accident! Love when that happens. Seriously loving your blog, your writing style & pics.
Thank you SO much~ you made my day! 🙂
