I always have so much fun playing around with different types of chip variations. I mean, sometimes I get so bored with the same old flavors and varieties of chips, and yes, I realize that there are tons of different chip choices out there right now..but I still get bored..lol!
I wanted something super unique and super tasty that no one would forget for a long, long time! And here we are!
Did you know that you can fry up any cooked pasta and it turns into a crispy, light, amazing chip? I know…it’s fun news isn’t it?! Anyway..I did just that with some leftover lasagna noodles that I had on hand, and O.M.G~ they turned out better than the Lasagna..haha! Well..almost!
Just imagine turning that scrumptious lasagna into a crispy, dipable, munchable, crunchable, light chip, all warm, cheesy and ready to plunge into some Marinara!
~Yep, now you can kind of imagine what these are like, but you’ll have to try them yourself to really understand, try lots and LOTS of them, just to be sure! 🙂
What you’ll need:
Boiled Lasagna noodles, cut into approx. 2″ squares..as many as you’d like, but make LOTS!
A mixture of Parmesan and seasoning (I used Italian) and salt and pepper to taste..ratios are up to you!
Oil for frying..I used Canola
Marinara for dipping
Directions:
Boil the noodles and cut them into squares.
Fry them up in about 2″ of 350 degree oil until they’re golden on both sides…
Sprinkle them while they’re warm with the parmesan and spices…
Dip them into some Marinara..crunch some and say YUM! ~Enjoy! 🙂
These sound delish and have endless possibilities, making these tomorrow.
These look amazing! Will they store for any length of time?
Thanks!
I think they should…you can always warm them up in a low oven for a few minutes to crisp them up! 🙂
