The BIG day of football is less than 24 hours away~ and it’s so funny because in reality..I could take it or leave it! I just love the opportunity for the many over the top food creations that it offers, and of course, I’m never above contributing to it..lol!
But this time, I actually had the game in mind when I created this totally terrific twisted pile of goodness, because the game can cause frustration, and frustration can cause hunger! ..and I’m here to help calm you down! 😉
Each tater twist is crispy and tender with the best, most subtle kick from the Sriracha that lingers on your taste buds! Make a giant pile the next time thou want to make LOTS of people very, very happy! 🙂
What you’ll need:
A Spiral Slicer found here >> SPIRAL SLICER
4-6 medium Potatoes
Sriracha..as much as you can handle
1/2 cup Flour
Salt and Pepper to taste
Oil for frying..I used Canola
Directions:
Peep the Potatoes, if you desire! Spiral slice them up!
Pat them dry with a papery towel!
Randomly drizzle them with Sriracha~ you can go crazy OR not!
Dust them with a light and even coating of Flour…
Drop a pile of them into the hot (350 degrees) Oil…
Let them cool and drain a bit on some paper towel…
Pile them up and climb that curly mountain of magnificence! ~Enjoy! 🙂
