If you’ve been to this site in the past and thought “WOW~ she’s really crazy” OR “She’s really lost her mind this time”..you were wrong.
As evidenced by this delicious insanity~ you were clearly wrong then..but now, ..NOW you can say it and be CORRECT!
This crazy creation has got to be the most insane combination of 2 simple ingredients that yields the BEST result I’ve created to date! And yes..it could quite possibly qualify me as Cah-raaazy!
Let’s break this culinary experience down:
You whip up a batch of these babies > You find a spot where where no one can judge you (a dark corner works well for this)..
Now..you crunch through the crispy, smoky bacon, and like a sweet kiss from the “just eat it Angels”, that drippy OREO Center coats your lips.
Your teeth sink down into a warm, tender and borderline-melty OREO, as you have an out of body OREO experience! This flavor combo is SO beautifully balanced to perfection that you realize sanity is way overrated…
Now..you reach for “one” more…haha!
..SCORE! 🙂
What you’ll need:
OREOS
BACON..thin sliced
toothpicks
OIL for frying~ I used Canola
THAT’S IT!
Directions:
Wrap one OREO with one slice of bacon, making sure to cover as much area as possible as you wrap the cookie. Now..secure the bacon by gently inserting a toothpick through the end of the bacon into the white part of the cookie.
Fry them up a few at a time, until they’re evenly golden on all sides.
Eat them warm..trust me!
Try and share some, it’s only right..lol! ..Or NOT! ~Enjoy! 🙂
I just wanna know, who’s eating these things your cooking? I really hope your kids aren’t being brought up on fried oreo’s and toco tots, white flour what ever. I love to know if the people in your family are thin, because we know you can sometimes can eat badly, as long as you don’t over eat the poison. But this isn’t the way a mom should teach her kids to cook. I hope this isn’t what you daughter is gonna feed her kids. I get sick looking at it, Oreo’s are full of such bad things, so lets wrap bacon around them. This is why Americans look like they do!
My grandkids enjoy these, along with fruit, veggies, meat, cheese, nuts, whole grain breads etc. and occasional other treats, some have sugar, but processed foods are kept to a minimum.
The worst thing you can feed them is indignation and indifference towards others right to their own choices, don’t you think?
