So it’s been a while since I’ve bombed anything, and that’s kind of surprising since everyone has LOVED delicious bombs ever since I started bombing..lol!
I had some leftover beef and cheese…and yes, even bacon so this just made sense!
These ingredients make such an amazing combo that I think all 3 of them moved closer to each other inside the fridge all on their own..haha! They’re super simple and the WOW factor will “blow” everyone way!
Find a safe spot to enjoy these juicy, bacon wrapped, gooey cheese-filled bombs and let them explode all over your cravings!
~Make LOTS!
What you’ll need for a nice stock-pile of bombs (double accordingly for more damage):
1/2 lb. of ground beef..mixed with one egg and seasoned to your taste!
1/2 lb. bacon..OR one slice per bomb!
Fresh Mozzarella..approx. a 1″ cube per bomb
oil for frying..I used Canola
Directions:
Roll approx. 1 tbsp. or so of ground beef in your hands and stuff it with one cube of the cheese, making sure to cover the chess completely with the beef…
Now, wrap a slice of bacon around the meatball, making sure to cover it all as best as you can…
Secure the end of the bacon with a toothpick…
Now fry them up a few at a time in the hot (350 degree) oil… until they’re crispy on all sides and fully cooked…
Serve them warm…
With those you love LOTS…
And don’t forget about YOU! ~Enjoy! 🙂
Ooh so inappropriate but I have to admit I was literally drooling over these photos. I’ve never eaten a bomb – but I promise you when I go shopping
If you bake these gems on the end, instead of frying them in oil you won’t lose any cheese.
Sounds like a healthier alternative too. I must try this!
If you bake them, what temp would you put it at, and for how long???
I’d try 350..
I’ve made these with biscuit dough instead of meat.yummy!
I’m thinking that Mozzarella cheese sticks would work great.
The only thing I would do additionally is to place a slice of jalopena in the middle with the cheese to spice it up. Yummy.
*drool*
Do you cook ground beef first?
Have you ever made meatballs? How the hell can you make a meatball with cooked ground beef?
Sorry~I have no idea what you’re talking about
You don’t cook the hamburger meat before. You cook it along with everything else when it’s all assembled. If I read the instructions correctly, you season it add an egg, take about a tablespoon full and wrap around the cube of cheese :).
do you happen to have the calorie and fat count on each bomb? They look so delish
350 oven baked for how long? Did you cook the ground beef first?
Good morning what about a party how long in advance can I cook them
