I can keep this blabber short and sweet simply by saying three words:
1. FRENCH. 2. FRY. 3. POPPERS.
See..that’s all it takes. I mean, of course I had to add in some parmesan cheese to these babies because um..cheese, but here we are with the cutest, tastiest, most unique french fries you will ever have.
~Talk about some amazing game watching snacks…you will be the MVP of snackage!
Each popper holds everything we know and love about french fries because.. well, they ARE french fries..with a twist. A round, circular ‘twist’..lol
A cheese-filled, rolled and ready to pop-in-your-mouth, french-fried-tasty (round) twist.
Every popper is light and crispy on the outside with the most tender, and flavorful french fry experience on the inside just waiting for your ooh’s and ahhh’s.
~Make LOTS!
What you’ll need:
3 cups defrosted french fries
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup flour (not shown)
1 egg
salt ..to taste
oil for frying..I used canola
A food processor
Directions:
Combine the fries and egg into the food processor… pulse until combined…
Mix it up with the flour and cheese.. until it’s blended…
Grab approx. 1 tsp. of the fry mixture, and roll them into balls….
Start frying them a few at a time…making sure that the oil is 350 degrees for the best result…
Let them cool a bit…
Gather your friends and family…if they’re not already begging…
Serve them with some ketchup, ranch, cheese sauce…or anything you’d like!
And GO FOR IT! ~Enjoy! 🙂
Ever consider microwaving tater tots for about 1 min 30 sec, and crumbling them up in lieu of going to all the effort of processing French fries?
Then they’d still be tater tots..lol. Fries actually have a different flavor too..in my opinion. 🙂
