This wine set is not only adorable, delicious, and fun, but it serves an amazing and valuable purpose! It was created by Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi to benefit AmpleHarvest.org, with all proceeds donated to the charity, helping support those in need by providing struggling American families with fresh fruit and vegetables from local gardens.
“We enable you to eliminate hunger and malnutrition in your own community.
AmpleHarvest.org works to reduce food waste by connecting gardeners to their local food pantries so that excess garden bounty can be shared with those in need. There are over 40 million Americans growing food in home or community gardens and we’re making it easy for them to find a food pantry in their community that desperately needs fresh food to distribute to hungry families.
Garden by garden, home and community gardeners and other growers are fighting hunger and malnutrition in America.”
**Over thirty years ago, Robert Mondavi set out to establish a wine culture in America by putting great California wine on every table. In 1979 he established the Woodbridge Winery near his childhood home of Lodi, California to make fruit-focused wines for everyday drinking.
“I was trying to plant deep into the soil of our young country the same values, traditions, and daily pleasures that my mother and father had brought with them from the hills and valleys of central Italy: good food, good wine, and love of family.”
– Robert Mondavi
